ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Marco and I'm a musician, a Neapolitan musician.
I couldn't remember when the music or the piano entered in my life because I think that they have always been part of my life.
When I was a child, I remember that my uncle was playing the accordion with whole family around him singing with joy. Off-key notes, wrong chords, he didn't care! He wanted to play, just play: "This matters son!". He had never studied music because he wanted to follow his nature, what he felt inside... what his ears "said".
He used to repeat: "I don't need a teacher that says me what I have to play! How does he know what I want to play?".
His accordion, now, is in my studio. It reminds me every day what is the real meaning of the music: fun, joy, happiness but also anger, disappointment, sadness... life!
I think that the music is a journey that lasts a whole life because it's a language, an universal language that changes and evolves with us.

BIOGRAPHY
I was born on January 31st 1988, in Naples.
I started studying piano in 1995 in a private school in province of Naples.
After finishing secondary school, from 2003 to 2007, I sat for the solfeggio (at Conservatory “Licinio Refice” in Frosinone, Rome) and for the lower level piano exams (at Conservatory “Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa”in Potenza).
From 2007 to 2009 I sat for Complementary Harmony exam (at Conservatory “Domenico Cimarosa” in Avellino) and for the History of the Music exam (at Conservatory “C. Gesualdo da Venosa” in Potenza).
In 2010, I attended a training course of piano with Maurizio Bosnia at the music school “La Voce” in Portici, Naples.
From 2013 to 2016 I studied harmony, composition, arranging and piano with masters Valerio Silvestro and Marco Corcione, at the “Mad School” in Fuorigrotta, Naples.
In 2016 I enrolled for a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performing at the “Camp Academy” in Pozzuoli (NA), with masters Valerio Silvestro, Loredana Lubrano, Luca Giordano and Luca De Gregorio.
From 2017 to 2020 I started teaching piano in the music school "Camp Academy".
From 2020 I'm teaching piano, harmony and composition in music school "Sound Tribe"
EXPERIENCE IN MUSIC
I started teaching when I was very young in the comprehensive school "A. Custra" in province of Naples as a piano teacher for childrens.
In 2016, I attended a masterclass with Federico Malaman; in 2017, I attended two training courses: Electronic Songwriter and Soundtracks composer. In the same year, I was chosen for a stage in radio kiss kiss with Ellis Colin DJ and in 2018, I attended a masterclass about the improvisation in music with Dario Deidda.
My collaborations are: "the Boss of the Bossa" (with Fabio Saggiomo, Pietro Scalera and Diego Genova), "Saggiomo's group", Valerio Silvestro, Loredana Lubrano, Luca Giordano, Angelo Bibita, Michele Paudice, Fabrizio Falco, Mauro Caso, Viviana Civitella, Claudio "Gallo" Golinelli, Rita Ciccarelli, Paily a.k.a. Martina Pranzili, Maria Grazia D'Auria, ZH` a.k.a Francesca Zaccà, Diego Genova, Claudio Varriale and Federica Lista.
